In 2021 I created the Gender Symbols Flow cut paper sculpture that evolved from the Womxn Spiral sculpture in 2020. Both sculptures are made from rolls of seamless paper where I traced and cut out various gender symbols to consider gender fluidity and expression.  I continue to experiment with paper and fabric and other mediums.
For the Queer Liberation March, New York City, June 27, 2021, I created three banners by tracing, then cutting gender symbols from a scroll of Tyvek fabric.  LIBERATE was stenciled in with acrylic paint in different colors, THE PEOPLE UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED was painted using stencils on Tyvek then painted with black acrylic paint and glitter.  NO ABOUT US WITHOUT US letters were hand cut out of aluminum foil.  The RESIST banner is made of silver Mylar.  The letters were traced and painted with orange acrylic paint on Tyvek.
